Just a heads' up folks...stay away from the internet if you don't want the book spoiled for you. Apparently, some idiot scanned and uploaded every page of the book to the net, after obtaining it early, somehow.

I say Hagrid bites it, as well as Voldemort.

The small town where my wife's chocolate shop is located is shutting the main street down and having this enormous Harry Potter festival. All the participating shops were assigned Hogsmeade names...for example, Russell's Delectables (my wife's shop) is now Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour. The stores are staying open until 1am...and then I'm sleeping in on Saturday, and reading all day :)

I'm pretty much staying away from a few message board sites until I read the final Potter book. There are too many trolls out there who would delight in ruining the ending for the rest of us.

I already knew in advance who was going to die in Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince, because someone posted spoilers on the internet that I saw by mistake.

Yeah, at a movie forum I browse, someone spoiled HBP by saying what happened in the topic. Avoid all forums (even this one from trolls) at all costs.

Everyone said that explanation was too simple. But those were the same people with the Ron is Dumbledore theory. I just have this feeling she will forget about that and not have it explained.

So the glimmer of triumph was because Voldemort used Harry's blood and Dumbledore knew what? That the were linked together or what...I'm not for sure??

What was the "Ron is Dumbledore" theory?

It never said for sure, but I think Dumbledore explained it during the final scenes. Ron is Dumbledore = time traveling Dumbledore. Basically he is Ron and is Harry's guardian during all the crazy events. They have the same hair and eye color. They are both good at chess. A bunch of other similarities. I guess since they both aren't gay that proves that theory wrong.
