I just checked the Lollapalooza site aswell as RATM's. Thats definately a confirmed show, but $200 for tickets. OUCH! Wonder if I can get a few friends interested.

I've heard the same thing about the US tour, but RATM only has tour dates for over sea's so far.

I know that Dark Star Orchestra will be here in San Diego next week...I won't be missing that show.
Ask me about DEAN KOONTZ Forum T-shirts. Cool.

tribute band to the Greatful Dead. I've actually heard of them before, but still haven't seen them. You'll have to let me know how the show went.

I've seen them 10-15 times...never a bad NOTE, let alone bad show...close your eyes and you cannot tell you aren't *there*. Not really a tribute band, they actually re-create actuals shows that have been performed, right down to different personnel and equipment layouts. If it was a 3-set, 5-hour show, like in 1973...that's what they play, right down to the final note!
It's actually better than the real thing was in one regard, none of them are addicted to heavy drugs and have bad nights.

sounds like a band here called moonlight drive. they are a pink floyd tribute band and do everything exactly the same as floyd. i know every note because i am a huge floyd fanatic. i have all 178 albums they ever made. only 6 or 7 were popular.
there is another band here too that is a zeppelin tribute band. they are really intense and put on an awesome show, and know how to get the crowd moving. i can't think of their name at the moment though.
all my brothers are musically talented, and are in bands, own music shops, and own recording studios. all i can do is turn wrenches. someones gotta fix those strats when they get smashed i guess. lol
