Just about to finish it. It isn't perfect, the dialogue is very inauthentic and the love story didn't work for me, but I have enjoyed it. As for her sister, she did have a sister who did werewolf novels but she passed away.

OMG! I didn't realise that Alice Borchardt had died. I am seriously in shock.
Yes I agree, the dialogue isn't overly authentic. How did I explain it to someone. It is like reading the first 5 Chronicles which are amazing and then there is a slight change, but they are still good, then you get to Merrick and don't get me wrong, I really did love the character, but the reading wasn't the same as the earlier work, by the time you get to Blackwood Farm and Blood Canticle .. nasty! (sorry to those that love those two novels, but I think they're a disgrace!! |
