Have you read it Fir? If not, kknowing too much about it ruins it in my opinion.

I don't know if it is a specific reflection of Koontz's personal beliefs, but the book I didn't think was entirely successful but I give it mad props for catching me off guard with the twist ending, and it didn't feel like a gimmick but in retrospect actually made sense.

This is a book that I'm planning on reading again soon. I think it will be my next DK read. I really loved this book. I think I went with the "rapture" angle on the ending FirTree. This story was frightening. This book has a lot of T.S. Elliot quotes. Now that I've seen that he's one of DK's favorites, I'll pay closer attention to them. This is the main way I can enjoy poetry, when it's inserted into a storyline. Reading poetry just for the sake of reading poetry is hard for me. I'm a dullard I guess.
I'm inclined to believe in parallel worlds filled with dark bound Snow and Odd adventures.
