Has anyone ever read this fantasy writer?

I'm curious because Goodkind's philosophical views are pretty much in line with Dean Koontz. In a recent interview, Goodkind pretty much said that Koontz is the only modern writer he enjoys reading on a regular basis.

Since I like Koontz, I was thinking about giving Goodkind's work a try. I have a copy of Wizard's First Rule on my bookshelf.

Goodkind writes fantasy so the style and content is very different even if the philosophies of the writers are similar. I've read that series and have really enjoyed it. Later in the series (book 8 or so) a couple of the books get kinda weak but the last one I read was more amusing again.

Well, she left us for her job about a year ago, and was at about 4,200 then.

I can't wait to read Goodkind, especially now that I've heard this.
