Sure didn't take it as an attack! I've never once felt attacked by anyone on the Internet, and if I have been attacked I wouldn't even notice. I just like explaining myself so that you don't get the wrong impression. Attack away if you need a punching bag!

I assume you're not going to include STAR QUEST in your Koontz ranking. I'm guessing it would probably rank at the bottom.

I'd put it above The Funhouse, which you liked. I don't think I'll rank any of the out of print books even if they are spectacular, unless Koontz rereleases them.

I understand not putting them in your offical rankings, but there are some that I think are really great. And Hanging On I think is one of his best, despite being out of print.
