Twist was perfect. But the ending, just wow...

Late to the game here, just read it but flew through it. I thought it was amazing. Maybe I'm just dense but I never saw the end coming, and it really floored me. I love when a book really surprises me and makes me re-examine what came before. And the last chapter was heartbreaking.

FE, read Lehane's Mystic River -- it is one of the favorite novels ever.

I just so happen to have Mystic River on my shelf, breezit, so I will be reading it soon.

I have seen the movie and it is said Scorsese had done justice for the movie. But I heard the books more interesting and some parts of the book are not in the movie. I am really looking forward to reading it.
