Just to clarify, I have an e-book version of ASSASSIN'S APPRENTICE, which is the first in the series. I haven't read that one yet.

Yes! I've read the first one, Assassin's Apprentice and I'd love to discuss it as y'all go along. I liked it very much. Then, if everyone wants to continue on to the 2nd, Royal Assassin, that will help me finish it. They're good, just frustrating at times.

how are her newer trilogies? I have heard that Soldiers Son was okay at best, but what about her newest one, The Rain Wild Chronicles? It mentions the liveship traders world, any connection to that trilogy?
