I actually hear the more recent Alex Cross books -- MARY MARY, CROSS and DOUBLE CROSS -- are quite good, and improvements on clunkers like LONDON BRIDGES.

I'll probably read it soon. It will be my first Cross, 2nd Patterson, but I think it will be fine even after the grueling False Memory.

The one Cross novel I read was better than the two non-Cross novels I read, but overall I found his style so preschool that I couldn't justify continuing reading him.
