I also really liked Lupin...finally a decent DATDA teacher.

SPOILERS SPOILERS

The thing about him being a werewolf was crazy.

Also, I just love how Rowling ties the stories together...Harry's Dad, Black, Lupin, and Pettigrew were all friends and all learned how to turn into animals and made the Mauraders Map...totally SWEET!!

Sorry...I'm just so excited that this book was so good...somebody talk about it with me!!!

Years 4 and 5 are going to blow your mind, man!

SPOILERS!

Scabbers being Pettigrew is one the best setups of the whole series, I'd say. Wood winning the Quidditch Cup was quite emotional. He was so happy about that. Harry taking his final exam with Trelawney and seeing the future correctly about Buckbeak escaping should earn him an A+.

book 4 was by far my favorite. i dont think i can ever listen or enjoy the HP audiobooks, because i have their voices in my head and it would just mess things up for me. the same way i cant read a book after seeing the movie adaptation this is why i wish i had read stardust before seeing the movie because now i know that the book must have been amazing but the movie has changed/influenced my perception of it. but i heard the narrator for HP is supposed to be great. i think u didnt enjoy the voice because u've already seen an HP movie and or read the book before. its a contradition of perception. like when u smell noodles but it tastes like beans. something like that lol. some folks can get past it some cant. Koontz audio books are really really great tho. most especially the odd thomas ones. they narrator is insane joggling all the different voices of peco mundo seamlessly and they sound nothing alike.
Favorite Koontz: FTCOHE

Reading all works by:
James Clavell and James Michener

I'm glad you are excited. I really loved that book, it was the one that made me sit up and really take notice. I can't wait for you to get to the next two and hear your thoughts on those.

I'm always scared that new fans of Potter won't make it through the fourth book and report their thoughts on it. Mainly because it is so good that its greatness could probably kill you.
