There are all these comertals where people are stressed out from recieving calls from their debtors, and how bankruptcy could be the answer to all of their problems. It's not that hard to stop the calls. Don't pay your phone bill.

DUH!

I would rather have a debit card and a credit card just in case (one of those I-need-thirty-thousand-dollars-within-a-day orderals - actually happened to us once when we moved, but that's a long, long story).

debit cards are just as bad. especially if your like my dumbass wife who writes a bunch of checks, then uses the debit card and overdraws her account before the checks cleared, and to top it all off, balances her check book by the phone computer thing you can call for info. those things are at least two weeks behind.

nothing like paying tons of fees.

ya the debit card is connected to your checking account right? my dad balances the check book everynight to make sure he knows exactly how much money we have but he doesnt use no phone thing. he uses quicken.its some computer software that looks like a checkbook but it adds and subtracts the money for you

My mother uses both a debit card and checking card, and we have perfect credit. She works at a bank, BTW. Anyway, you have no idea how stupid people can be when it comes to banking.

Oh, and if you're ever going to commit fraud and the people at the bank tell you to hold on a minute, the computers aren't working right or they're down, you're in trouble. ;)

I'm sure you can relate, Don. JK
