When my girlfriend broke up with me a few weeks ago.
I guess it forces me to see the world differently, and what i was doing wrong in life.

When my Cross Country team won the State Championship. Not that they weren't any good, just a great feeling winning something so big.

hmmmmmmmmmmm,
so many things, so little space to write.
i think the most shocking was when my eye doctor told me in 1998 that i would never be able to drive a car again. and now i beat that problem. well, almost. i still need to go take the driving test. but i'm driving anyway. so just as long as i dont get caught, its all good.

For me, it would be when my baby (furry not human) died. Still can't get past that one.

That's why I like pets as opposed to people. They may lie around, but at least they are still cute year after year.

I can think of two.
The first being my divorce after just 3 years, it completly shatered my views and belifs of how "thing are" if you get my meaning, I became very Evil for a time, women went from heavenly to MEAT in a matter of weeks, I sacrificed ALOT for that woman, and i ended up with the shaft. It took a few years but i managed to get myself even and not blame woman-kind for one filthy B!tch
Shocking
The seconed most Shocking would have to be, the first time I "baby sat" my girl friends kids especially the baby, she had to work nights and no siter was availble so i offered my services lol, (we had only been dateing a couple weeks) She was off to work around 2300, the older girls where already sleeping, and i had the baby she was about 3 months old and in her little carseat/carrier on the floor right next to me, I was in terror i would do something wrong lol, i mostly stared at her while she slept, and when i finely fell asleep, i woke up at every sound she made thinking something was wrong :) Eventualy i had to pick her up to calm her down, she gave me that little baby half smile, and fell asleep in my arms. I was hooked then..extreme eye opener.
That and when her first word was DA DA....and she looked right at me....very intence...very SCHOCKING..I was still capable of falling in love...
yes i know very sappy but hey..its the truth.

Awww, that's sweet!
For me, when I found out I was pregnant for the 3rd time. I had the hardest time getting pregnant the first two times, had to take pills and everything. Then my husband got cancer and needed chemo, so they told him he'll definitely not have any more kids. So I come to my OBGYN thinking I hit early mennopause at 38, and he tells me I'm 12 weeks pregnant!!! My mom was mad at me, thinking I planned this all along, but my daughter won her over by now.

I don't seem to be able to decide which was more shocking to me. So I'll just share them both. :)
The first one. My mom thru me out of her house when I was 14-15, don't remember exactly. Grant it I gave her good reasons to, I just didn't expect it from her. It wasn't that I was a terror or anything like that. I did all the chores, respected curfews, had good grades. I just didn't care to do any of those things sober.
Second, was not that my wife moved out while I was away on business, but that she actually cleaned out my bank accounts. I know it happens all the time. I just didn't expect that one considering she had called me while I was away to inform me that they were moving and asked if she could get a certain amount out to cover a deposit. I was ok with that, not ok with cleaning it out. lol O'well.

It seems, we are who we are through all these "trials" good and bad they make us what we are. Im pretty sure if in '98 i didnt enlist, id be dead right now. Every thing that has happened from that point on has made me the man i am today for better or worst. Id like to think for the better, instead of being an addict or a dealer, im a dad, with a good job and few mistakes. But then again, if my girls make those same mistakes i can be there for them and work it through...after of course i give them the beating of there lives..lol
