Obvious spoilers throughout!

Finished re-watching this one yesterday.

It is still my least favorite season.

There seemed to be minor annoyances to each episode. I think it was the fact that they had House sitting staring off into space a lot, as if he were thinking about how he may be wrong about his world view. That isn't House. He's always right, even when he's wrong!

*Episode 2.2 - Autopsy

Made me cry at the end! She was really brave!

Chase – "If she's never kissed a boy, it's a fair bet she's never had sex."
House – "Tell that to all the hookers who won't kiss me on the mouth."

"Is it still illegal to perform an autopsy on a living person?"

*Episode 2.4 - TB or Not TB

New to Objectivism philosophy, I was on House's side the whole time despite the other guy being happy with his life while House isn't. Probably my favorite episode of the season.

*Episode 2.5 - Daddy's Boy

I really liked how it was left open whether the newly graduated dude lived or not. Chase said it was unlikely that he would.

Cameron – "Who was that?"
House – "Angelina Jolie. I call her mom. Who thinks that's sexy?"

Foreman – "You have no evidence to support a poisoning diagnosis."
House – "Which is why it's going to be so cool when I turn out to be right."

*Episode 2.6 - Spin

"What makes a guy start drooling? Chase, were you wearing your short-shorts?"

*Episode 2.9 - Deception

"What else turns you on? Drugs? Casual sex? Rough sex? Casual rough sex? I'm a doctor, I need to know."

"Sorry I missed that. White count's been down since the Ricky Martin concert. Some cholo kicked me in the head."

*Episode 2.10 - Failure to Communicate

"I teach you to lie and cheat and steal and the second my back is turned you wait in line!"

*Episode 2.12 - Distractions

Cameron – "Could pain medication cause an orgasm?"
House – "I wish."

*Episode 2.13 - Skin Deep

Yeah, she turned out to be a hermaphrodite and her father slept with her.

Wilson – "How'd you get here?"
House – "By osmosis."

*Episode 2.14 - Sex Kills

"Cheese is the Devil's plaything." -House

"Norwegian chocolate. Frankly, you buy that stuff, the terrorists win."

*Episode 2.15 - Clueless

A seeming rape, really consenting fantasies, leads to House figuring that she is slowly poisoning her husband. They definitely tried to be edgy with this season. But this one really worked out I thought.

"Awesome. A sex fiend with a swollen tongue. Think of all the places I can make Foreman search."

"Lungs, skin... skin, lungs... sklungs?"

*Episode 2.18 - Sleeping Dogs Lie

Episodes like this seem to compromise House's character, but in the end it returns to normal. He forced his patient to do a surgery "without" a certain knowledge.

"Gotta hand it to Foreman, though. He knew you were a suck up and I don't give a crap. He successfully exploited us both."

*Episode 2.19 - House vs. God

Great! A little more fair then I remembered. Of course I had to watch it with my agnostic friend who kept saying, "That's stupid, there's got to be some explanation for that!" After the tenth time I screamed at him, "Dammit! Haven't you learned that House isn't going to give up and he will prove that it can be explained?"

"No, if you talk to God you're religious. If God talks to you, you're psychotic."

"Cuddy said you should do it. You've got a gift. People thank you for telling them they're going to die."

*Episode 2.20 - Euphoria: Part 1

Amazing episode. Another contender for favorite of the season. Euphoric cop is just too funny. Than Foreman turning euphoric was great acting. "Am I the only one who finds this hilarious!" -Foreman on cop dying.

*Episode 2.21 - Euphoria: Part 2

"Oh, Level Three. Have you called Jack Bauer?"

"You're upset that I'm doing clinic hours? Wow, that is so like rain on your wedding day."

*Episode 2.22 - Forever

"Tonight, L Word marathon."

"Unless Chase broke his neck falling off his polo pony, he had no reason to be in the ER."

*Episode 2.23 - Who's Your Daddy?

Great! Didn't capitalize on making some Hurricane Katrina political statement. So many funny moments in this one.

"I'm a really good secret keeper. I've never told anybody Wilson wets his bed."

*Episode 2.24 - No Reason

House gets shot. House hallucinates the whole episode. He figures it all out anyway. Dude with enlarged tongue is freaking hilarious.

"I always say if you're going to get shot, do it in a hospital."

Jack: "I don't want to hear semantics."
House: "You anti-semantic bastard."

----------------------------------------------------

All in all, a great season. Some of the best clinic patients. But it seemed that a lot of the episodes stopped being funny in the last 10-15 minutes of the show.

You saw that House quote and had to remind me.

"Oh, Level Three. Have you called Jack Bauer?" - Gregory House

That huge post has nothing to do with the story of the season at all, so go ahead and read it you won't have a clue what is going on. Watch season 2 after season 1! What gave you such a bizarre idea. You're such a dorky troll.

This is great. It's like therapy sessions filled with philosphical and ethical dilemmas accompanied with hilarious humor. Finished Acceptance, Autopsy, Humpty Dumpty, and TB or Not TB.

Acceptance had such a cool closing scene with that Hallelujah song by Jeff Buckley and I loved Cameron in this episode. Cameron to Wilson, "When a good person dies, someone should notice and be upset." House making points about "What medical tx's a person loses according to crimes he commits."

Autopsy: I laughed so hard at House's reaction when Chase admitted he kissed that 9yo girl with cancer when she asked him to. Houses reaction to the girl's bravery and self sacrifice for the sake of her mother was very emotional.
House to Wilson: If you are dying, suddenly everybody loves you. Wilson: You have a cane--nobody even likes you.

Humpty Dumpty when House was snooping in Cuddy's home and looked at her bed, "This is where it all happens." That was so funny along with the rest of the scene. Also when the black patient didn't want the racist medicine and House wrote a prescription, handed it to him and said, "Here's a medicine for Republicans." LOL

TB or Not TB when the lady with cat allergies asked House what she was going to do and House replied, "If you live by the river, I got a bag."

House about the TB humanitarian after helping him, "I saved his life. I get credit for every life he saves from here on out."

I told myself I was just going to watch one episode a day but I end up watching discs instead.

LOL! Love House when he takes on that guy and gives him Republican medicine just to shut him up. TB or Not TB is my all time favorite episode. Selfishness vs. altruism.

You are missing out on my BSG post by avoiding the chat room. Don't you want to discuss that?

Of course I want to discuss BSG! I can go overboard with it. I always follow your lead on when you want to discuss it. I've been feeling stupid lately but that'll make me get over it.
