Advised by their ego driven father, both Mannings refused to play for SD after they were each to become 1st round draft picks for San Diego. The first adventure with Payton out-and-out refusing to play; so we executed some trades and we ended up with Ryan Leaf. Foul taste in mouth and 5 wasted years trying to recover from that boo-boo.
The second adventure ended up with Eli wearing a Charger hat and a frown for about an hour, until the trade that netted Chargers with Rivers, Merriman, Castillo, and perhaps 1 or 2 other starters. The Manning brothers are not popular in SD. I figured that the astute historian that you are were aware of this. They didn't key my car. Love it when they lose. Love it more when we beat them. Looks like SD and Colts are poised for a play-date later this season.

I forgot Peyton was involved in the Ryan Leaf thing. I knew about Eli, but Peyton was a while ago.

Okay, I can see why that is now. Makes sense to me. It' skind of why I hate A-Rod and the Yankees.

Right on. Its more Archies fault than the boys but hey, that's sports in America. Gotta get some rivalries built up somehow. Ryan Leaf....a couple of four-letter words right there!!

At 4:15 today the G-Men have probably their last chance to get back into the playoff hunt by beating Philly and taking the lead in the NFC Wild Card. And then maybe taking Dallas off the top spot, but probably not, considering their win in Atlanta last night.

This is a big game, for sure. They all have been, since they started playing crappy in Week 5. Strahan needs to come back and set the tone for this team. They seem like they have no leadership on the field. It's more Eli's fault than anyone's. Lets see how he responds...

Eagles win. Wow, this is a crazy season. Looks like my Eagles and Titans can still make the playoffs. The 49ers are looking the best they have in years as well.

Giants still have a chance theoretically, but it looks bad.
