   To make a long story short, I was quite a proficient working guitarist prior to an accident resulting in a forearm laceration that has hindered my playing abilities indefinately. To fill the void and find a new hobby, I have taken an interest in small engine repair. I have read books, picked up free mowers from the trash etc. and started tinkering. I got my first 2 mowers running and I'm enjoying the challenge. 

This would be a great forum to " ask the expert" and I appreciate guys like DonP and others who offer a wealth of info on this list. I just hope I don't wear out my welcome as I'm sure I'll be asking questions.   Thanks!

	ask away. i've been a factory trained and certified small engine mechanic for over 17 years. more than happy to help you out, and i can show you some great places for parts lists and breakdowns.
