Hi guys, I've read both Off Season and Offspring and enjoyed them both. I really enjoy Ketchum's work, He's not afraid to write anything!

I accidently made this post in the other author forum, so ill put it here now. I have a newfound interest in this author, offseason/offspring are definite buys for me, but im wondering what else is recomended aside from the girl next door...honestly it just doesnt intrigue me, but maybe im wrong for doing that.

I havent heard anything about Only Child, it sounded really good to me, but im wondering if it turned out to be good. You know how some books just have amazing premises that you think cant go wrong and then they do, im hoping that this book isnt one of them.

Im open to any other suggestions as well, and im also interested in what makes his books bad, ive heard talk of really graphic stuff, or going over the top, could someone elaborate on that please?

I've only read Girl Next DOor adn the writing was strong and impressive though the subject matter is hard to take for some. I do own Peaceable Kingdom though and always encourage people to buy short story collections by authors they are interested in, gives a nice wide view of the writer's work and as a short story writer myself, I want to see sales of collections increase so maybe one day a publisher will be willing to take a chance on one from me.

Yeah peacable kingdom is the main one i can find, i also always find either offspring or offseason, but never both, lol. I saw the girl next door one time and the book was all ripped up so i didnt buy it, i figured that one would be easier to find. I really need to get a credit card or something so i can start doing some shopping online for books i cant find. I really want to check out his book Only Child, it sounded good, and i also want Simmons Darwins Blade which seems to be impossible to buy from a store...

The main reason i hold off on online shopping is my OCD tendancies to require new books in perfect condition, but i have slowly gotten a little better about it, and as long as they arent like really bad i will be okay.
