No, I don't believe so, although Rowling hasn't discussed either work in any detail.

I remember a few years ago she said she wanted to keep working, to show her kids about the imporance of having a good work ethic. I'm glad she is still writing, and I hope she can come up with something at least half as magical. I know I'll have to at least try all her books out due to my HP love.

She said something about a children's book. You know, those 30 pages books with maybe 10 words per page, for 3-6 year olds.

In an interview I read, she said she had ideas for two books, one for children and one for adults.

I hope JK Rowling continues to write, just for the sake of the industry. I can't think of any other writer in my lifetime that inspires people to rush to the bookstore like she does. The only other writer that comes close is Dan Brown, so I'm curious what happens when the DA VINCI CODE sequel finally comes out next year.

Remember when people were PSYCHOTIC to get Bridges of Madison COunty? Well, that guy vanished quickly after. Nonfiction wise, I remember Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil was a phenomenon, and yet his follow up City of Fallen Angels--which I thought was even better--inspired barely a whimper.

That said, I think there will be a lot of interest in what Rowling does next, I just hope people won't hold it against her that it's not Harry Potter and will judge it on its own merit.

She said in an interview that she will always write, she can't imagine not writing, it's part of her life and who she is, and I love any writer who feels like me that it's as necessary as breathing.
