I've used similar kind of tool in the past, but I was under impression that they don't work anymore, since AdSense supposedly no longer looks at the URL to pick ads - but relies exclusively on Mediabot spider data.

What if site is already indexed in google? Would google look at cache to generate ads? Seems like it would...

We've got a similar tool on our site.  It's interesting how it works.  Without doing a rigorous test, I'd say it works well if Google knows your site already (almost certainly from its cache).  If it doesn't know you, it posts up public service ads - but I've noticed that it seems to use the domain name to guess what type of public service ads to show. Example: I posted our own domain name: factsaboutadsense.com in and got ads that were sensible.  But there's a site out there called factsabout.com which is just parked and when I entered that into the tool I got public service ads beginning with phrases like "facts about".

Sometimes it throw up rubbish though - a friend entered his companies url (they build houses) and got a load of ads about specialist vegetable suppliers in Wales, UK!
