when I was in 7th grade, I was riding home with my mother. when we got to our block, I thought I saw one of my cats laying dead in the road. My mom and I had been having some conversation and I just stopped responding because I was shocked about what I thought we saw. We turned into our driveway and saw both our cats safe and sound. I explained to her what I thought I saw. The cats came inside with us. Then we let them out again that evening (they were previously feral, we'd taken them into our house awhile before but they still liked going outside especially when we let our dogs out). The cat I though I saw in the road did not come in when called, which had never happened before, the other cat came in just fine but was acting kind of weird. The next morning still no sign of the cat. Our next door neighbor came by and told us that she'd found the cat dead in her yard. My dad went and got her, she'd been hit by a car while running and just kept running until she collapsed in the neighbors yard. A bit of precognition I guess.

Pretty good Gem, sorry about your cat. Death is a part of life, tho. The survivors suffer.
I have ESP, I can draw out my friends...or it may be contact premonition. I start to think of someone I haven't heard from in a long time. As the thoughts get more and more frequent, usually within a week; they will call or email me. This is almost 100% effective. Even to the point that I go to pick up the phone to call THEM (which goes against my nature), and the phone will ring in my hand...its THEM!
Ask me about DEAN KOONTZ Forum T-shirts. Cool.

that happens to me too. in fact last week, I dreamt of a woman I know (a friend of a friend, and someone I also dealt with a bit professionally at a previous job) that I hadn't talked to since last fall and haven't seen in two years. i woke up wondering why i'd dreamt of her out of nowhere. got on my email that morning and had gotten a mass email from her saying that she was quitting her job, moving across country to take a new job and go to grad school.
