A nice little CB radio and CD player on my Targa would be choice! Oh well ... I have to resort to talking to myself while riding ... not the worst option, I suppose! Ha!

Me and my friend once toyed around with the idea of using the hand-free walkie-talkies, so we could chat while we're riding our mopeds (me on Tomos and him on Sachs).
Well, turned out that motor would cause interference to the signal, so the only way we could chat was by stopping and turning the engines off :) Andy Z |

Really? I never realized that. I used to think things like electronic fuel injection and whanot would interfere, but I suppose it's the spark from the engine that's interfering on a moped? What about motorcyclists who have CB radios and headset walkie-talkies? Are theirs made specifically for the purpose? Are they, in turn, properly shielded?
