Well, there is a Roland story in there, sort of a prequel.

I need to start making a list, I'd really like to read this stuff before the series.
So far, Salem's Lot The Stand Talisman Black House Everythings Eventual Hearts in Atlantis Insomnia I'll probably come back and edit this. |

Of those, Salem's Lot is the best, but I'm also particularly fond of Black House. Hearts in Atlantis I found to be weak, but the novella that is related to the Dark Tower is the best thing in it. Insomnia is just so-so in my opinion, but a character in it is vital to the last Dark Tower book. Everything's Eventual I think is a really nice collection, and the Roland story I liked.

Belladona, on top of that list, you need Salems Lot, Talisman, Little Sisters of Eluria(in Everythings Eventual), Eye of the Dragon, and Stand, but the ones you mentioned and Salems Lot are the biggest connections but you dont need to read them all before DT, i would recomend maybe starting with after book 3 reading one of them between each book so that your sort of mixing it up so to speak, but either way is fine, its your preference that matters.

Mixing it up sounds good, in between (after book 3), it's nice to break a bit in between a series. I'm not sure when I'm going to get to this series though, but at least I know what I'll need to read before hand.
