Recently I removed the carb from my '88 razz. Cleaned it out real good. A small round black rubber washer slighty smaller than a pencil eraser fell out of the carb. I spent forever trying to figure out where it went. So I kept it in a plastic zip lock and put the carb back in. Now the moped has trouble running and you have to hold the choke open just a bit to keep it running....even when driving around. The zip lock was thrown away by a roommate so I guess I'm screwed.
Does anyone know what this little rubber piece was that fell out of the carb and has now caused it to not idle or run properly? The moped ran fine prior to the piece falling out. Any help would be appreciated. I think it may have to be part of the throttle/choke cable ...where it attaches into the carb. Maybe I could buy a whole carb/throttle cable setup from someone? thanks, N |
