Howdy all! I've decided to join the world of scooters but it's all so confusing on what to get. I'm sure when broken down it's the same as buying a car but I'm not too savy on that either. Donp has been nice enough to give me the basics so what I'm looking for is if you all know a good place to buy one. I'm looking for a yamaha, kawasaki,
honda, or
suzuki. I need a price of no more than $2,000 and would prefer payments options. I need over 50cc because of the scooter laws here. Know any good places online? Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.
-Amanda, borderline disturbing.

i forgot to mention vespa. they are one of the oldest brands on the market. they are a great bike too. a little more pricey than the rest, but you get what you pay for. the best thing you should do is check your local motorcycle shops. at least you will save on shipping.
your getting a scooter........ now your gonna be cool.

Vespa is a bit too ca-ching for me. We only have one shop here, but I'm going to check it out. I tried Craig's list, but I don't know the differences between motorcycles and scooters (in model talk) so that one is out for me. You're right though, it's looking like the local place in Greeley is going to be the place to go for me.

most scooters are considered motorcycles. and anything larger than 50cc or less is definetly a motorcycle in most states. just steer clear of the chinese junk.
