Let me know what you think. I own the entire Book of the New Sun series, but have never read them. I know they're challenging to read.

challenging is an understatement. I will say this though, the books are NOT for everyone. As interesting as it was it is complicated with so many hidden meanings and histories. for sure its unlike anything i have ever read. And you can tell Gene Wolfe is an incredible story teller. The book is purely profound, but i dont know how i feel about it. its alot to take in.

Look at it this way, i think Schindler's List, Amistad and Passion of the Christ are absolutely incredible movies. Amazing and perfect in almost every way. But will i ever watch those movies again? i dont think so. Those movies are great and profound, but they arent movies i'd by dying to watch again or put in the dvd when my folks are over.

Book of the new sun is an incredible book, but i dont know if i love it.

heh i had decided it was just me in here and i was talking to myself.

Sounds good, I can't wait to check him out.

While Schindler's List is one of my favorite movies, and I enjoyed Amistad, I'm tired of the lies that Spielberg puts in his movies.
