I thought that novel, as you know, really was the one that turned the series into fun children's series to kick-ass series I couldn't tear myself away from. And parts 4 and 5 are what I consider the best of the series.

I didn't listen to the audiobook of GOF at all...I didn't want to hear the annoying narrator version of Hermoine's voice.
I did, however, get a .pdf file of the book...so I got a little bit of reading done during some slow times at work!! |

I have a question...I was looking on the internet for a .pdf copy of OoTP to read and this is the first link that came up on google:
Order of the Phoenix My computer didn't have any ill effects from downloading it or anything and I scanned it for viruses and spyware. So, anyway...I thought this was it, but then I looked at my actual copy of OoTP and they are totally different. The first chapter in the book is Dudley Demented or something like that and on this ebook it's The Trip. I didn't know if maybe the one online was Half-Blood Prince or something and just mislabeled or if it's just total crap or what. Here's the first paragraph of the one online if you don't want to click on the link. ***It was the most wonderful feeling Harry ever experienced. He was flying through the air, feeling the wind blow by and through his entire body. The warm sun was glowing all over him and some birds were flying by, singing merrily. He raced them, not knowing where to, just knowing he was having the best time of his life. As Harry was shooting ahead, he looked forward, and saw a thin line on the ground. Harry threw his hands back, getting a sudden burst of speed. He was going far faster than the birds now, he could hear their voices trailing behind him, getting farther and farther behind him. The thin line was getting closer as Harry sped up. As he got nearer to it, the Sun’s warmth became slightly colder, and the wind was blowing much harder. Despite this, he continued on, having a huge desire to see what the line was dividing.*** Anyone know?? |

I can tell you that isn't the first paragraph of either of the remaining two novels. I don't know what you have there.

That is not J.K. Rowling. It must be some fan fiction.
EDIT - Just opened the link, it is fan fiction. ![]() |
