I am thinking about buying a mc-d54b roadster 250cc (here is the link for it http://www.powersportsmax.com/product_info.php/cPath/38/products_id/634. I would really appreciate any opinions on this model. If anyone knows does Florida require a motorcycle endorsement if a moped goes over a certain speed and would that require taking a motorcycle beginners course? Thanks in advance for info and advice

I drive my car approx 500 miles a week and spend $130 every 2 weeks on gas is it reasonable to expect a moped to replace this kind of usage and hold up and last (I mainly want a moped as a way to save on gas)at the sametime I am also considering a motorcycle as a viable altenative.

well, that is definetly NOT a moped. that is a scooter. and in most states, anything over 50cc is considered a motorcycle. that bike does not have pedals, and is over 50cc, so it cannot be classed as a moped no matter what that web site tries to tell you or get you to believe.

sorry the website labels it as a moped scooter.   My question is still the same is this a good quality scooter and will it hold up under the conditions I would use it?

hard to say. the market has been flooded with these chinese built scooters, and most of these companies are here today and gone tomorrow. and normally replacement parts are non existant.. for a good dependable bike, you should look at honda, yamaha, suzuki, kawasaki, or vespa.
