Delayed gratification.

Notice a trend?

Every year my grandmother gives me all her books when I visit her. I usually pick out about five out of the whole mess, this year I found a few extra...

I've heard good things about his author.

CLANCY!

I may try this author out some day.

Random crime thrillers...

Turns out I had these in hardback, but hey, now I have paperback versions.

Mary Higgins Clark

John D. MacDonald, this guy is incredible.

That's correct if you answered they are all realistic. No Sci-Fi, fantasy, supernatural, or horror elements.

Most of them are part of a series though, so I won't read them for a year or two. And also, all of them are thrillers, and I don't read thrillers often, I stick to sci-fi, horror, suspense, and fantasy. SUPERNATURAL is where it's at for me.

I'm basically stocking up just in case something crazy happens.

I've read both Stone Monkey and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and they are both excellent! Stone Monkey is a thrill a minute page turner!
