I have only included the first five, and put the rest under "Later Books" because I felt they had a different feel and flavor.

The later books are definitely quite different. I voted for Lestat. I loved Interview first. But after reading Lestat I was very happy that the rest of the series continued from his perspective.

I loved Lestat, his whole life before he became a vampire totally enthralled me.

I thought Interview was an interesting story, but Lestat definitely brought a richness and lushness that the first novel didn't possess.

Memnoch, was pretty cool for me, just the idea presented of heaven and hell was "neat", and the ending was priceless, loved the misderection
