And here we go....
Yesterday in my local news, an @ss load of local school closeurs where anounced due to a huge budget deficit. Now parents are fliping out and protesting over there childs school closeing down...You would think this is a good reason for parents to be mad about wouldnt you....Well WRONG. And let me explain, last year the school districts practicaly beged for money, a vote was called for a minor tax increase to local residences solely for funding schools.....can U guess what happened, it was shot down buy a massive margin. nobody wanted to pay... Parents did not want to pay a few dollors more in taxes to educate there children....and now there b!tching about schools that are BROKE and closeing. This disgusts me to no end. My community is full of dumb@ss that want nothing better for there kids... What happened to children being are future, i guess there not worth it when it comes to spending money on school....

Don't have to. I'll say it for him, and I have the right because I have kids in the school system. They spend money on stupid things, then they run out and want us to cover their behind with our money. Private schools are operating for way less, and they actually teach kids instead of wasting their time. But people hear "it's for the children" and they vote for more and more money to be spent.
And yes, I'm for private school vouchers all the way, in case you're wondering. |

And shockingly enough(<--- sarcasm) I agree.
School systems have been allowed to run like governments for far too long...schools HAVE funding...they just have people deciding what to do with the money that have no idea what they are doing. Run them like a business instead of a government (license to print more money) and they'll have a surplus. |
