***Minor Spoilers to answers Gene's question****

In the next book in the Enders series, Speaker for the Dead, Ender has travelled through deep space to another planet, effectively moving him ahead many years in time before the story line picks up.

In the other Ender related series that begins with Enders Shadow (was published after Speaker for the Dead and others in that string of books), the events overlap in time with Enders Game. The books subsequent to Enders Shadow cover time shortly after Enders Game. Which means that the story lines covered in them are chronologically prior to where Speaker for the Dead picks up.

And I thought Wilson's 'Adversary Cycle' was kooky!

Well, I finished Ender and I must say it was not as good as the billing. Not really sci-fi as I'm expecting, more psychological actually. the ending did nothing for me...so I'm unsure about moving onto the rest of the series...need more meat...where's the beef?
