I've always believed it's the subconcious trying to tell you something...in a foreign language!  If only I spoke "subconcious".  But then, I also believe most things happen for a reason and when I'm ready to know what my subconcious is trying to say then I will know the language.

Woobabe,

Ah, my sentiments exactly! Those people who swear by 'dream dictionaries' make me think of people who claim they can speak an ancient, dead language - while there's no-one who can verify this.

It's also a good point of "we'll understand it when we're ready". Annoying as the delay may be, it is indeed often the case that information I am not ready for gets rejected - but later it surfaces up and stays with me.

Exactly.  It's like me dealing with my separation from my hubby.  When we first parted a year ago, my emotions shut down - I lost the ability to "feel" anything.  But now, a year on, I'm slowly healing and it's trickling back but stuff that is too hurtful for me to deal with, I reject and I know it's my "souls" way of telling me - nope, your not ready for that yet.  It's all part of the process, but I've always believed you're never given more than you can handle so I try to suck it up and go with the flow!

but it doesn't mean that your mind is trying to tell you something though, it is just the thoughts that keep running through your head when you are awake that will drive the thoughts in your mind when you are asleep.

Woobabe,

I've had a fiancee 7 years ago and things didn't work out. It seems like I've lost some 'capacity to feel' too - I've tried different relationships since then, but it felt like they are doomed to failure, so I didn't try very hard.

Or maybe capacity to feel remains, it's just not directed romatically. The energy has to go somewhere, so it goes into inner work and making websites :)
