Hell I didn't even look at the second page to see people had all ready answered it. Now that's funny!

Dan Brown's a literary genius and all, but the 17 pages needed to figure out Ensei's code were entirely unnecessary. That's highschool chemistry. As for the code thing, that's pretty cool. Wish he had made some more...I'm gonna buy a puzzle book now!

The answers are in the book. Try the first letter of each chapter in a 4 x 4 square. It isnt perfect english.

The reader who says that 3 million silicon chips exploding would kill everything in sight, is forgetting that the air conditioning unit would be drawing the freon down, , and therefore the silicon gas too... however this would, admittedly only have succeeded in reducing the amount of silicon gas, not remove it completely... though, of course, it would have messed up the air con comletly, and killed everything anywhere near the exhaust vent!... I found it more dubious that Code3, supposedly the most protected of all areas (except the data bank) was smashed to pieces by a table being pushed across the room... little more protection than my Patio doors then..
