anyone know how to de restrict a derbi??? i know it's in the exhaust but any advice would help a great deal.

i believe there's usually a washer welded inside the exhaust where it would hookup to the engine. you can also check to see if it has any type of baffle towards the end of the exhaust. you should be able to pull it out of the end of the pipe after removing the "end cap". might as well clean the baffle while you have it out. you could drill a couple of holes in it, but be cautious of your plugchops because it might lean out your mixture. |

Put a fairing on and maybe a set of leather saddle bags and you'll say "Life is hard but it's good".

aight sounds good, so more than likely its a smaller washer where the exhaust meets the cylinder. sounds like a plan, won't know for about two weeks, need a little more money before i can buy this thing. just getting over anxious. |

ok, i got it. it is a welded washer inside the exhaust where it meets the cylinder. any ideas on how to get this welded washer out. all i can think of is jig sawing it out, but i really don't want to do it.any ideas would be greatly appreciated
