Endymion is so good I wish it was 1000 pages! I'm really going to hate finishing this book. It doesn't disappoint - every sentence, every paragraph, chapter after chapter, it's simply magnificent!

Patt, and White...what did you enjoy more, Canteberry style or regular chapter style for the Hyperionverse.

Normally I find it very annoying when they stick poetry in a book but I actually enjoyed it here. It seemed to me, Simmons put in just enough at the right time but I still prefer regular chapters.

Oddy: Wait till you read Endymion - I'm still in a daze and I finished it yesterday!

Damn, I thought Hyperion was so good, I just can't wait to start Fall of Hyperion. Your making me jealous.

I see there is a novella that is in the Hyperion universe and also ties into his new saga Ilium/Olympos called Orphans of the Helix. It's included in his short story collection called World's Enough and Time. I definitely want to read that!

I've just started Rise of Endymion.
