By the Light of the Moon is a pretty good book. I do, however, agree that the ending was rushed a little bit.

i have to say i didn't care for the ending much either.  it seemed like dk kinda threw up his hands and said "what now?"  i did enjoy the book up untill that point tho.

This is one of my recent faves. It grabbed me from page one and didn't let go until the end which, I must also add, was to quick. The only other of his books that I recall this happening in was Dragon Tears. So gripping and moving. It came to such a crescendo and then, all of a sudden, it just sort of...stopped and was over.

Loved the book though.

Cheers!

I do agree that the ending could have been better, but it does leave you wondering where the characters go from there. I would also agree that Sheps autism grew very annoying at times and made the suspense not as much fun as in most of his books. I kept saying OK Shep shut up now so the story can move along. I was satisfied with the book overall though, and encourage and Koontz fan to at least give it a try.
