I also remember a discussion on Keene's board of people saying Adam deserved what he got, which I thought wasn't entirely right. I mean, he was a tragic figure, and besides, if he "deserved what he got" then that would have made Levi's actions less shocking, which seemed to be waht Keene was going for.

Yeah, I don't think he deserved that. I guess there is a short story that has Adam in hell. I'm not sure what it's called or if it is published.

Good news for any Keene fan that has been looking for The Rising: Selected Scenes or Earthworm Gods: Selected Scenes, Keene announced that later this year, he would be publishing both together as a trade paperback, Selected Scenes from the Ends of the Earth. It will have all original texts from both releases and related stories added to the new release. He also said his collections Fear of Gravity and Unhappy Endings would be republished next year.
