I am just sitting down to start this and I have a rant already, lol! I have both Assassin's Apprentice and Assassin's Quest in front of me and there is no way to tell by looking at the cover or the back of the book which is first and which is next or even that it is part of a series! AND I know the publishers do this on purpose because people are less apt to buy a book in a series as one that's not. I find that highly annoying and hate being played like that.

I started it last night, seems like it'll be good. Yes it would be nice if the outer area was labeled. I end up leaving the bookstore empty handed to check out Fantastic Fiction.
How are you liking it Patti? |

Yup, I did give it up after a chapter and a half, I tried twice to read it and didn't find it the least bit interesting either time, sorry guys.
I also leave the bookstores without a purchase if I don't have my list of all the different books in all the different series I have and don't have I am totally lost. Last time I went I bought 2 books in a series I already had because they changed not only the covers but the size of the 2 books, they were twice as thick with twice as many pages! I was sure they were different books until I got them home, then I felt like an idiot! That was the Conn Iggulden series. |

That's a bummer Patti, I don't know how I feel about it yet. I'm only on page 17 so far I'll let you know how it goes.
