This is the first in the Women's Murder Club series and also my first James Patterson read. I'm enjoying the storyline and the main characters, especially Lindsay. The killer is quite brutal, the way he goes about with his slayings is unimaginable, he has no remorse.

Patterson is a fun read, no in depth writing, but great thrill reading. I like him so far and will read more of him.

1st to Die was also my first Patterson read, and I enjoyed it a lot. I thought the very final twist of the novel was kind of lame, though.

Spoilers....

OMG, I can't believe they killed off Chris Raleigh, that was sad. As far as Jenks coming back in the end, I wasn't surprised because of how he thought of and treated women-he was sick and I did know it was the wife too. I liked the chase right up til they threw Jenks in jail and I love the women characters in the club.

I had this in my hand yesterday and it sounded good, I put it down though and didn't buy it.
